Busciglio is best known for his dreamlike Contemporary Impressionism. His paintings are full of color, movement and energy. Busciglio’s art expresses his love for the living culture of his home, New Orleans and his love for Music and the Spirit in everything. Busciglio uses a palette knife and brush to render thick textured acrylics on canvas. Often compared to the likes of Van Gogh and Monet, Busciglio has developed a distinct style all his own. He takes pride in carrying the torch of impressionism into the 21st century creating one of a kind world class paintings that feel alive.
Currently, Busciglio's work resides in homes around the world. His work has appeared in HBO Treme, and on the Late Night Show with Steven Colbert. He has also been featured in local and national publications. Busciglio is humbled and honored for the opportunity to promote the Spirit of New Orleans through his art.
"The main premise of my work is to paint the feeling of the moment with a focus on the expression of the spirit and the intention of good vibrations. Art, like life, is a reflection. With art, I create heart centered bodies of work that inspire."
